Instagram Mastery · in depth

Make the account useful before it becomes beautiful.

Instagram Mastery is for brands where the feed, Stories, Reels, creators and DMs influence the buying decision. We give each of them a job, turn buyers' questions into briefs, and keep the proof where a buyer can check it.

01 · What Mastery buys

Each format moves a buyer differently.

The same product facts can travel across Instagram, but the brief changes with how people use each format. Reels need context fast. Carousels need a sequence that builds. Stories need to feel current. DMs need a useful answer and a next step.

02 · The weekly brief

Six decisions before production starts.

The cue sheet starts with the buyer's moment; the format comes later. Name the tension, the proof worth seeing, who should say it, the next step and the one variable this post is allowed to test.

01MomentWho cares now?Name one person at one moment.
02HookWhy stop?Tension, object, change, question or claim.
03ProofWhy believe?Demonstration, primary source, customer or lived experience.
04CarrierWho can say it?Founder, operator, customer, creator, product or document.
05ActionWhat next?Continue, save, send, reply, visit or decide.
06LearningWhat changes? One variable that changes the next brief.
03 · The Reel review frame

The creative review ends with a decision.

The review looks separately at how long people watched, what they saved and sent, and what they asked in DMs. The Friday call is concrete: keep the proof, change the opening, build the next series or stop the idea.

In practice · what the account actually shows

The proof changes shape; the brand's voice stays the same.

A strong account can move from a face to a product close-up to an unboxing to a DM without feeling like four campaigns. The common thread is what is true about the product. The format decides how close the viewer gets to it.

Creative rule

Do not make every post look like a campaign key visual. A healthy Instagram account has close-ups, hands, rooms, people, screenshots, diagrams, replies and imperfect proof. Consistency comes from the judgement behind the edit, not one lighting setup.

04 · Comments, DMs + claims

The inbox is part market research, part risk.

Questions about use, fit and proof are valuable because they arrive in the buyer's own language. We turn the recurring ones into briefs. Product claims, adverse reactions and private customer details follow stricter rules.

Green · answer

Approved product facts.

Availability, routine, usage and low-risk clarification. Reply directly and keep the language that customers actually use.

Amber · source

The claim needs a receipt.

Ingredients, performance claims, technical detail and pricing disputes. Bring the approved source or owner before the reply becomes public.

Red · stop

Safety beats speed.

Adverse reactions, legal threats, privacy, sensitive customer information or material misinformation. Preserve the record and escalate.

05 · The content mix

A feed needs four kinds of post, each with its own shelf life.

The account has to deal with this week and still build something that lasts. So we plan four kinds of post: quick responses to what matters now, a repeatable series, flagship proof worth promoting hard, and a library buyers can return to as the decision gets closer.

Now · response

Answer the live question.

Launch friction, a repeated DM, a product objection, a cultural moment or a customer question that comes up often enough to deserve a fast answer. This work can be quick because the claims and reply rules are agreed in advance.

Expected · series

Give the audience a form it recognises.

The job stays the same while one variable changes: another skin type, another use case, another maker, another objection. A series teaches us something because the format holds still long enough to compare the proof.

Memorable · flagship

Spend effort where the proof can carry it.

Founder demonstration, customer programme, creator collaboration, original data or a category point of view that deserves more production, stronger rights and a longer distribution life.

Durable · library

Make the account useful after the week ends.

Fit guides, comparisons, ingredient or material explainers, saved routines and recurring questions. The library turns the profile into a place buyers come to decide, instead of a timeline of old posts.

06 · First 90 days

Learn what works before increasing the volume.

The first ninety days settle the product facts, the reply rules and a few repeatable formats. Volume goes up only once we can see which proof people save, send, ask about or buy from.

Days 1–30

Map the account.

Audit the feed, Stories and DMs; map the product facts, creator rights, who approves what, the starting numbers and the first three audience moments worth testing.

Days 31–60

Ship enough to learn.

Change one thing at a time: the opening, who is on screen, the kind of proof or the sequence. Check saves, sends, replies and repeated questions before the next brief.

Days 61–90

Build the series.

Turn the strongest ritual into a recognisable series, then decide which proof, which person on screen and which audience question get the next month's attention.

07 · Plug & Play vs Mastery

Use Mastery when Instagram carries the product story.

Plug & Play keeps Instagram running as part of a wider social programme. Mastery gives the account its own testing, a library of proof and closer attention to comments and DMs.

09 · Fit

Instagram Mastery fits when saves, sends, DMs and creator proof influence the sale.

Good fit
+Instagram already affects sales, reputation or audience growth.
+You can supply real facts about product, customers or operations.
+Approvals can keep pace with Instagram.
+The goal is an account people recognise; post count comes second.
Wrong fit
Generic cross-posting at the lowest possible cost.
Guaranteed reach, follower or revenue promises.
No access to product facts, customers or proof.
Nobody on your side can approve, publish or resolve risk.
10 · Questions

Clear boundaries before the first brief.

What makes Mastery different from Plug & Play?+

Plug & Play runs a serious channel programme. Mastery gives Instagram its own production capacity, tighter creator and rights management, a regular testing schedule and closer reading of comments and DMs.

Do you handle creators?+

We write the brief, set what counts as acceptable work, track the rights and can coordinate approved creators. Creator fees and paid promotion stay outside the plan fee.

Do you promise reach?+

No. We control the brief, the proof, the format, how often we post and how we respond. How far a post travels depends on Instagram and its audience.

Who owns the account and files?+

You do. The account, data, source files, creator rights records and final assets stay in accounts and storage you own.

Instagram Mastery

Bring what is holding the channel back, and the material behind it.

Bring the product, the current account and the questions buyers keep asking. We will scope the smallest Instagram programme with enough repetition to learn.
